Security guard arrested for allegedly firing shots in Wahiawa

A 26-year-old Mililani man is being held on four counts of attempted murder after he allegedly shot at three people and a seven-month-old girl near the Wahiawa Shopping Center Thursday night.

Police said two men, ages 31 and 47, argued with the suspect, a security guard, before leaving the Wahiawa Shopping Center just after 5 p.m. The security guard apparently followed the two men to their residence near the shopping center and the 26-year-old suspect allegedly fired several shots at the men and the 24-year-old girlfriend of one of the 31-year-old man. The girlfriend was also was holding the couple’s daughter, police said. No was hit.

The guard fled back to the shopping center where police arrested him on four counts of first-degree attempted murder, one count of reckless endangering and a firearms violation.
