No. 7 Hawaii wins 19th straight in volleyball

Kanani Danielson put down 13 kills and Jane Croson added 12 to lead No. 7 hawaii to a 25-14, 25-21, 25-17 victory tonight over Nevada in a Western Athletic Conference volleyball match in Reno, Nev.

Brittany Hewitt was in on four of Hawaii’s seven blocks and Emily Hartong had two of the team’s aces as the Rainbow Wahine (24-1, 12-0 WAC) won their 19th straight. 

Janelle Batista had 10 kills for the Wolf Pack (4-18, 1-9).

Tonight was the ninth match in 17 days for the Wahine, who finish out the WAC regular season with home matches Nov. 10 against Louisiana Tech and Nov. 12 against New Mexico State.
