Police say fight over stolen items leads to gun threat

An argument over stolen items led two men to allegedly pull a gun on a visitor at a Haleiwa home, police said.

A 26-year-old man went to the Haleiwa home of a 26-year-old man. The victim and suspects, a 26-year-old Haleiwa man and 26-year-old Kailua man, got into an argument about stolen items, police said.

The 26-year-old Kailua man pulled out a gun, which was taken by the Haleiwa man, who allegedly pointed it at the victim, police said.

Officers arrested the Haleiwa man for first-degree terroristic threatening, reckless endangering, first-degree theft and a firearms violation.

The 26-year-old Kailua suspect was arrested for a firearms violation and for possession of stolen property.
