An Aiea man was booked Friday after he allegedly threatened two women setting cat traps in their neighborhood in Aiea.

The man, 67, saw the women setting the traps to catch stray cats about 2 p.m. and came out of his house to threaten them with a baseball bat, police said.

The man left before police arrived. When he returned, the women, 52 and 46, identified him and he was arrested for investigation of terroristic threatening.
