Farrington, which suffered its first loss of the season Friday to Kahuku in the OIA championship, will travel to Maui to play Baldwin in an opening-round game of the state Division I football championship.
The Governors, who entered Friday ranked No. 1, will play the No. 7 Bears 6 p.m. Friday at War Memorial Stadium.
In the other opening-round game, Kealakehe, which beat Keaau 60-18 Friday, will host the Oahu Interscholastic Association’s No. 3 team. That will be decided Saturday when Campbell plays at Leilehua.
Thanks to its 23-0 win over Farrington, Kahuku will have a first-round bye and will play the winner of the OIA No. 3/Kealakehe winner in one semifinal, set for Nov. 18.
Punahou, which narrowly beat Kamehameha 24-17 to win the Interscholastic League of Honolulu title on Thursday, will play the Baldwin/Farrington winner in the other semifinal.
Both semifinal games will be played at Aloha Stadium.
