Sand Island park to be closed Wednesday for water repairs
The state Department of Land and Natural Resources says Sand Island State Recreation Area will be closed this morning for water main repairs.
The state Parks Division hopes to have the park opened by 1 p.m.
The state says it’s doing the repairs in the middle of the week to avoid affecting weekend campers.
