Police said drug charges will be sought against a 33-year-old woman after she tried to destroy a glass pipe in front of officers.

The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. Monday as the woman was being arrested near Keeaumoku Street after an officer recognized her for her outstanding warrants, police said. While walking to the police car, the woman began fidgeting and a glass pipe fell from her shorts. The woman stomped on the pipe, breaking it into several pieces, then told the officers, “You can’t get that on me,” police said.

Officers collected the broken pipe for analysis, and the department’s Scientific Investigation Section found methamphetamine on it. Police said officers will seek charges for dangerous drugs.
