Kanani Danielson put down 16 kills and Jane Croson added 11 as No. 3 Hawaii took 77 minutes to defeat Northern Colorado tonight in an NCAA women’s volleyball tournament first-round match 25-21, 25-15, 25-15.
It was the 25th consecutive win for the Rainbow Wahine (30-1), who take on Colorado State in Friday’s second-round match at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Rams (24-5) outlasted Oregon 24-26, 25-21, 25-21, 15-25, 15-10 in today’s first match.
Danielson added 12 digs for her 19th double-double of the season. A crowd of 7,193 watched.
