A 20-year-old woman told police Saturday she was assaulted, blindfolded and kidnapped in Waikiki.
Police said the woman reported four or five large men grabbed her near Kapiolani Park and put her into the back of a pickup about 2 p.m. The woman said something was placed over her head to cover her eyes and she was hit in the head and upper body. She reported the men pushed her out of the truck, and a witness who found her in disarray called for help about 3:30 p.m., police said.
An Emergency Medical Services supervisor said paramedics took the woman to the hospital in serious condition. Police are still looking for the suspects.
