Two Kauai men arrested in robbery of Koloa service station
A 21-year-old Koloa man and an 18-year-old Kapaa man were arrested today in connection with a robbery at a Kauai service station.
The men were arrested this morning on suspicion of first-degree robbery. They are being held at the police cellblock in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Police are still looking for two male suspects who remain at-large after four men, disguised with facial paint, entered the convenience store at the Koloa Chevron station about 2:20 a.m. and demanded cash from the lone employee.
According to police, the male employee was held at knifepoint and physically assaulted. He suffered contusions to his face and body and was treated by medics at the scene.
The suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, liquor and cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot.
