Video and photos released to help identify Mililani suspect

Police are looking for a man wanted for robbing Gold Club and Gifts Wednesday morning.

Honolulu police released survelilance video and photos Thursday in hopes of identifying a suspect in a violent Mililani jewelry store robbery Wednesday morning.

At about 10:53 a.m. Wednesday, the suspect entered Gold Club and Gifts store located at the Mililani Town Center on 95-1249 Meheula Parkway.

The suspect allegedly asked to see some jewelry, then brandished a handgun after the display case was opened. Police said the victim attempted to flee, and was chased down and struck by the suspect, as seen in the surveillance video from the store.

The suspect fled on foot into the residential area near the shopping center. He is described to be between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet 2 inches or 6 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing about 260 to 270 pounds. He was seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, black long pants and a black backpack.
