Abercrombie campaign raised $1.1M in second half of 2011
Gov. Neil Abercrombie raised more than $1.1 million during the past six months for his re-election campaign in 2014.
The Democrat held three fundraisers last year, including a major event in August at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The governor had more than $828,700 in cash on hand at the end of December, according to his campaign-finance report.
“This is a reflection of the depth of confidence and support for Governor Abercrombie since he took office thirteen months ago,” Bill Kaneko, Abercrombie’s campaign manager, said in a news release. “The Governor and his campaign team are gratified by the overwhelming support.”
