Man arrested for allegedly assaulting wife in Honolulu
Police arrested a 52-year-old man for allegedly assaulting his wife earlier this month in Honolulu. They are also investigating whether he assaulted her and abused her on two previous occasion.
Police said the woman, 58, reported being pushed into a table about 10 p.m. Feb. 10, causing her to break several ribs. When reported the incident to police, she said he had pushed her into furniture in September 2010, also causing broken ribs, and had chocked her in June 2010, causing her to nearly consciousness.
The man was arrested this morning at the Ronald T. Moon Kapolei Courthouse Complex and is being held pending two counts of second-degree assault and one count of felony abuse.
