Rains on Kauai washed out an access road leading to three houses in Kapaa.
A water main break appears to be the cause of two sinkholes discovered in the Ulu Mahi subdivision of Lihue Saturday.
Kauai County road crews closed Pua Nani Street, makai of Aheahea Street because of road damage. Department of Water crews shut off water service to the area until repairs can be completed.
There was no estimate Saturday of when the repairs will be completed.
