Police are awaiting autopsy results for a homeless man whose body was found near a public roadway in Wahiawa.

Police said the 48-year-old man was found unresponsive about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in a homeless campsite in a grassy area near the H-2 Freeway and Wilikina Drive. An unattended death case has been opened.
