Firefighters work to put out a blaze at the Golden Coin Bake Shop and Restaurant in Wahiawa Wednesday morning.

Honolulu firefighters have put out a blaze that caused extensive damage to the Golden Coin Bake Shop and Restaurant in Wahiawa just before 11 a.m. today.

An unattended wok appeared to have been the source of the fire in the kitchen of the restaurant on Kamehameha Highway and Kilani Street, Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.

There was extensive damage to the kitchen and some damage to the counter area, Seelig said.

No one was injured.

The restaurant is on the same property as the Tamura’s Supermarket.
