Police arrest Kaneohe armed robbery suspect
A 22-year-old Kaneohe man was arrested on suspicion of robbing another man after flashing a handgun at him at a Kaneohe bus stop Wednesday night, police said.
Police said the suspect approached the victim and two witnesses at a Kawa Street bus stop about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The man revealed a firearm in his waistband and ordered him to empty his pockets and remove the money from his wallet, police said. The alleged robber fled the area on foot, police said.
The man was later located at his Kahuhipa Street home about 3 a.m. today, identified and arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery and seven warrants, police said.
