Two men arrested at Kalihi marijuana-growing operation
Police arrested two men after large amounts of marijuana were found at their hydroponics store in Kalihi Friday.
Police said a Kapahulu man, 31, and a Ward Avenue man, 48, were arrested on suspicion of first-degree promotion of a harmful drug, second-degree promotion of a detrimental drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.
The two men had medical marijuana permits but the amounts found exceeded legally allowed amounts, police said.
Found at Green Hands of Aloha, an establishment on Mary Street, were approximately 168 grams of marijuana buds with an estimated value of $20,160, about 448 grams of dried marijuana with an estimated street value of $53,760, 112 grams of hashish estimated at $13,440 and four ounces of marijuana extract estimated at $13,440.

Both men were charged Friday afternoon, and then released on $20,000 bail each.
