Breland Almadova had two hits and scored the only run of the game for Hawaii (25-18, 5-4), which is two games behind league-leading New Mexico State heading into a three-game series between the two teams next week at Les Murakami Stadium.
Max Duval drove in UH’s only run of the game with an RBI single.
Scott Squier (3-3) took the loss, allowing two runs on five hits in 4 2/3 innings with two walks and two strikeouts.
Hawaii finished 4-3 on its seven-game roadtrip and returns home to face the Aggies beginning Thursday.
