Boy who allegedly shines laser at officer is arrested
Police arrested a 15-year-old boy for allegedly shining a laser at a police officer Wednesday night in Mililani.
Police said the officer was driving near Kamehameha Highway and Waihonu Street when he was hit in the face and eyes by a laser beam about 9:50 p.m.
The officer found the boy nearby, recovered his laser device and arrested him for investigation of illegal possession of a laser by a minor, harassment by laser and reckless endangerment.
