Police responded to a Waianae-area school when a 13-year-old student allegedly assaulted and threatened school staff.

Police said the 13-year-old girl became disorderly and school staff escorted her to the office at about 2:20 p.m. Monday. The girl insisted on leaving and when staff blocked the exit, she allegedly assaulted five school staff and security officers — three men and two women — and threatened to kill one of them.

Officers arrested the girl when the arrived at the school. Police did not identify the school where the incident took place.
