Boy arrested on burglary charges after Kalihi man awakes to sound of sliding glass door opening
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy on suspicion of first-degree burglary after a sleeping 51-year-old Kalihi man awoke to the sound of his sliding glass door opening and saw two juvenile boys running out of his house, police said.
The resident spotted the suspects at 5:45 a.m. and tried to chase them, police said.
Officers who responded arrested the 13-year-old boy at 6:09 a.m. after he was positively identified by the resident, police said
