Maui firefighters quickly extinguish small brush fire
Maui firefighters quickly extinguished a small brush fire at a Waiehu home.
Maui Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga said a 25-foot-by-50-foot area of brush and tall grass behind a house at 858 Hoomau St.
The fire was brought under control at 1:39 p.m. and extinguished at 1:47 p.m.
There was no monetary loss. The cause is undetermined.
