The 68-year-old Honolulu man who died June 18 from injuries received in an auto accident on Sand Island Access Road last month has been identified as Moses Abino Jr.

His death was attributed to complications suffered after he lost control of the car he was driving May 31 and struck two walls on Sand Island Access Road. He was taken to Queen’s Medical Center where he remained until he died last week.

His death was Oahu’s 27th traffic fatality, compared with 24 at the same time last year.
