Laumaka escapee recaptured
A 35-year-old Oahu Community Correctional Center inmate is back behind bars this morning after being on the loose for two days.
Gary Tinao Jr. was picked by at a bus stop on Diamond Head Road near Kapiolani Community College at 4 a.m. today by a beat officer on patrol.
Tinao escaped from the Oahu Community Correctional Center Laumaka Work Furlough Center on Tuesday.
Tinao has been convicted of two felony crimes, including robbery and kidnapping in 2008; four misdemeanors, and four petty misdemeanors.
