Waikiki pawn shop operator arrested in firearms, drug probe
Police arrested a Waikiki pawn shop operator Thursday afternoon on suspicion of 12 counts of theft, firearms violations, promotion of dangerous drugs and meth drug trafficking.
The suspect, 45, was taken into custody at 5:30 p.m. after being arrested at the Keeaumoku Street McDonald’s restaurant.
He is facing charges on two counts of meth trafficking, four counts of second-degree theft, third-degree theft, first-degree theft, firearms violations and three counts of promoting dangerous drugs.
