Maui firefighters extinguish small Kula brush fire

Maui County firefighters extinguished a 0.5-acre brush fire in Kula Monday.

Fire crews arrived at 460 Koheo Road to find overgrown grass, protea bushes and couple of eucalyptus trees involved on fire, a spokesman said. 

The fire was contained at 11:16 a.m. and extinguished at 12:35 p.m.

No damages or injuries were reported.
