The Hawaii men’s basketball team has received oral commitments from Niko Filipovich and Stefan Jovanovic, both of Bishop Montgomery High in Torrance, Calif.

Filipovich, a 6-foot point guard, and Jovanovic, a 6-foot-10 forward/center, are eligible for the 2013-14 season. They are the second and third known commitments for next season, after Michael Thomas of El Camino Real High in California.

The two teammates are taking an official visit to the island this weekend and will attend the Ohana Hoopfest season kick-off festivities tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
