A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery downtown on Sunday morning.

Police say William Hold, who does not have a local address, approached a 35-year-old man on Nuuanu Avenue around 7:20 a.m. and demanded his property.

Hold was located, identified and arrested a few minutes later after attempting to flee the scene. He was charged Monday with second-degree robbery.

Hold’s bail was set at $25,000.
