Shark warning signs taken down at Nanakuli Beach Park
Shark warning signs posted Tuesday afternoon have been taken down at Nanakuli Beach Park.
Lifeguards posted the signs after the sighting of an 8-foot shark at 5 p.m,.
Two hours later, lifeguards removed the signs because there was no further indications of shark activity, Emergencys Services Department spokeswoman Shayne Enright said.
Enright said the shark was non-aggressive and seemed to be cruising.
It was the second shark sighting in Nanakuli this week.
Lifeguards reported a 10-foot shark, acting aggressive and jumping out of the water, at Nanakuli Beach Park Monday.
