Police: Man arrested for choking girlfriend
Police arrested a 24-year-old Waipahu man, who allegedly strangled his girlfriend until she fell unconscious.
Police said the man and the 27-year-old woman argued when he allegedly damaged her property, then allegedly strangled her, causing her to lose consciousness at about 8 p.m. Friday, police said.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested the man at 10:50 p.m. Friday on suspicion of felony abuse of a household member and second-degree criminal property damage.
