Four Hawaii women’s soccer players were listed among the Big West Conference’s postseason awards announced today.

Sophomore midfielder Krystal Pascua was named All-BWC second team. Sophomore forward Tiana Fujimoto and junior defender Chelsea Miyake were honorable mentions, while defender Lidia Battaglia was named to the All-Freshman team.

UH, which finished sixth place in its debut season in the conference at 3-5-1, received no first-team or position player of the year recognition. Regular-season champion Cal State Fullerton had its coach, Demian Brown, honored as BWC Coach of the Year.

The Wahine were picked to finish in a tie for last in the 10-team conference’s preseason selections.
