Buffalo activates former UH safety Mana Silva
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. >> The Buffalo Bills activated safety Mana Silva from the practice squad and cut safety Delano Howell in preparation for Sunday’s game vs. New England (5-3).
Silva entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Hawaii with Baltimore in July 2011 and spent a portion of last season with the Bills practice squad before signing on to the Dallas 53-man roster. He played two games with the Cowboys last season, making three tackles, and three games this season, making two tackles.
Silva, a Kamehameha-Hawaii graduate who rejoined the Bills practice squad Oct. 2, holds the UH school record for interceptions.
The Bills will face a Patriots team that has posted an NFL-best 262 points.
