Fleetwood Mac Tour dates ice out isles
Fleetwood Mac this morning announced a 34-city U.S. tour beginning April 4 that includes no performances in Hawaii, though two band members have homes here.
Also, Mick Fleetwood opened an eponymous restaurant in Lahaina earlier this year.
Major tour stops include Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Chicago and at the Hollywood Bowl.
Tickets can be purchased by American Express card holders Dec. 13. Ticket sales for other buyers open up Dec. 14.
The band last toured in 2009, but this tour marks the 35th anniversary of the band’s classic “Rumours” album, released in 1977. The concert tour to promote that album did include performances in Hawaii.
Earlier this year rumors of a Fleetwood Mac tour came to light through guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, who released a solo album in September.
