2 held in alleged purse-snatching at shave ice stand
Police arrested a man suspected of robbing a woman at the Aoki’s Shave Ice stand in Haleiwa Thursday.
The suspect allegedly grabbed the woman’s purse at about 6:19 p.m. and fled in a vehicle driven by another man, according to information from police radio transmissions.
Police said the vehicle was later found, and two men were arrested.
