Two people critically injured in Waipahu stabbing
Two people were in critical condition with stab wounds following an apparent attempted murder-suicide Friday night in Waipahu, police said.
Police said a man was arguing with his girlfriend at a single-story house on Kuakahi Street when the man stabbed the woman multiple times with scissors. The man then stabbed himself several times, police said.
Emergency medical personnel took both to the Queen’s Medical Center. Police opened a second-degree attempted-murder case.
