Hawaii County police arrested a 37-year-old Hilo woman tonight in connection with a stabbing death in Hilo.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and held in the Hilo cellblock.

Police responded to a 5:19 a.m. call in the 1400 block of Kaumana Drive, where they found a 38-year-old Hilo man with a stab wound. The victim was taken to Hilo Medical Center, where he died at 7:11 a.m.
