Fire officials said the accident occurred at 2 a.m. on Kuahelani Street. No one was injured.
The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to Hawaii News Now.
The Red Cross was dispatched to help the family. Police are investigatiing the traffic accident.
