3 kayakers rescued off Yokohama Bay
Fire rescue personnel and the Coast Guard rescued three kayakers off Yokohama Bay Thursday night.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said the search began about 7:40 p.m. and the kayakers in two kayaks were found about an hour later. The rescue was in progress and near completion at 9 p.m.
The Coast Guard used a helicopter to rescue one kayaker.
