Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation is alerting the public that the local non-profit may be a victim of a phone scam.

The foundation on its website said it heard from two supporters that a caller is falsely representing themselves as someone seeking to raise funds for HCCF. The solicitor is in not connected to HCCF. The local non-profit is not soliciting donations over the phone and never has.

The foundation warns anyone who receives a call of this nature, to not provide any personal, confidential or financial information.
