2nd body found after California midair collision

CALABASAS, Calif. » Investigators have found a second body at the Southern California site where a small plane crashed after a midair collision with another small plane that managed to make a belly landing on a golf course.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Tony Imbrenda says the discovery was made Tuesday in the Santa Monica Mountains west of Los Angeles.

The midair collision occurred about 2 p.m. Monday, sending one of the planes plunging onto a ridge, where it ignited a half-acre brush fire.

The three people in the other plane suffered minor injuries after that craft set down wheels-up on a golf course.
