Virginia firm wins $12M Hawaii Health Connector contract
Hawaii Health Connector, the nonprofit setting up an online health insurance marketplace as part of Obamacare, said today it awarded a $12 million customer service contract to Virginia-based Maximus Health Services Inc.
The mainland company will be responsible for the development, implementation and management, including support services, of the Connector’s customer service contact center, according to an announcement.
The contact center will be based on Oahu and Maximus Health Services will hire as many as 25 staffers to manage its operations and services.
The contract award will fund the contact center through 2017.
