Andrew Zimmern’s Hawaii visit in November will be the focus of “Bizarre Foods America” Monday on the Travel Channel.

The episode “Undiscovered Hawaii” will debut at 6 p.m. Monday, and will show Zimmern getting a rare opportunity to fish with local people in the remote village of Milolii on Hawaii island, as well as visiting other off-the-beaten path locales on the Big Island and on Oahu.

Viewers will see Zimmern’s attempts at pounding pai ai; at consuming the bile sac of a dried octopus, and for the less-adventurous, sampling shave ice, among other escapades.
