HECO restores power to Ahuimanu customers
Hawaiian Electric Co. work crews finished repairs on underground cables and restored power to about 30 customers in Ahuimanu about 4 a.m. this morning.
The outage started shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Initially, about 1,500 customers in the Ahuimanu area were affected. HECO crews incrementally restored service throughout the afternoon. Power to most customers was restored by 5 p.m.
