Honolulu police investigated the scene of the critical pedestrian-trolley accident overnight on Ala Moana Boulevard.

A pedestrian remains in critical condition at Queen’s Medical Center after he was hit by a trolley near the Ala Moana Park Thursday night.

Police described the pedestrian as a man in his 20s.

The victim was crossing the intersection at Ala Moana Boulevard and Kamakee Street when he was hit by a trolley traveling west at 10: 55 p.m. The pedestrian was heading west when he was struck by the vehicle, driven by a man from Kaneohe. Speed and alcohol are not factors on the part of the driver, police said.
