A 51-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly tried to sell a stolen van to a Kalihi metal recycling business.

Police made the arrest Monday when the suspect couldn’t produce ownership papers.

After checking, police found out that the vehicle had been stolen last month.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
