ATV stolen from North Shore lifeguards
Lifeguards at Chun’s Reef on Oahu’s North Shore had a brand-new $7,000 all-terrain vehicle stolen Sunday night or early Monday morning.
It was stored inside a 40-foot shipping container.
Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services Division purchased the ATV in June to round out its fleet to five. Another ATV has been temporarily assigned to the North Shore beach.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call police.
