Woman arrested for allegedly using closed account checks
A 43-year-old Waipahu woman was arrested Monday for allegedly using checks from a closed bank account to pay for vehicle registrations.
The alleged incidents occurred between Dec. 13, 2012 and Jan. 4, 2013, police said.
The suspect was identified from surveillance video. She was arrested on suspicion of five counts of second-degree theft and three counts of third-degree theft.
