Thirty-six arrested in Oahu-based outstanding warrants sweep
The Honolulu Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service and Hawaii Fugitive Task Force arrested 36 people for outstanding warrants and other violations during a three-day that wrapped up on Thursday.
The Oahu-based operation targeted parole or probation violators as well as those with outstanding criminal warrants for drug, firearm or sexual offenses.
According to an HPD release, the individuals arrested were wanted for a total of 47 outstanding warrants. Three were also arrested for additional drug offenses.
Bail for 32 eligible suspects (four had warrants with no bail) totaled $765,401, according to the news release.
