Honolulu police recovered a moped that was reported stolen in June after a routine traffic stop in Makiki.

Police said an officer pulled a 48-year-old man driving the moped over for a traffic violation at about 1:35 a.m. Monday and discovered the vehicle had been stolen near the University of Hawaii-Manoa in June.

The officer arrested the man for suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle and and driving without a license.
